This beautiful 50 Pesos coin is. 900 fine gold and 1.2057 troy ounces of gold, issued by the Banco de México from 1921 to 1947. Its historically low premiums make it a great option for both collectors and investors. Dating back to 1921, the coin was made to commemorate Mexico’s 100th anniversary of independence from Spain. The obverse features the iconic Winged Victory “The Angel of Independence” design. The reverse shows Mexico’s national coat of arms featuring a golden eagle perched on a cactus with a snake in its beak, together with the denomiation (50 Pesos) and its weight (37.5 g).
