The reverse of the coin is equally patriotic in its portrayal of the American ideal of freedom. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA spans the top of the coin while IN GOD WE TRUST is just above the female bald eagle and just below the right wing of the male bald eagle. The reverse was designed by sculptor Miley Busiek and perfectly compliments the obverse of the coin. Each coin is minted at West Point, NY. Each coin contains 1 oz. Obverse features Lady Liberty and is based on the 1907 Saint-Gaudens Gold Double-Eagle design. Reverse is a beautiful design incorporating the symbol of American freedom, the bald eagle.
