The coin is highly lustrous on both sides, and exhibits sharp details. For example, every letter in the word “LIBERTY” on the obverse is sharply legible, as are the small letters in the motto, “In God We Trust” on the reverse. Additionally, the Eagle’s shield is remarkably free of abrasions (often, it is in the fine lines of the shield that cross-cutting abrasions occur on these coins), particularly for an MS-62.
