Appearing on the obverse is the right-facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Ian Rank-Broadley and introduced as the fourth successive portrait of Her Majesty in 1998. The reverse of this small gold coin portrays two kangaroos bounding across a stylized depiction of the Australian outback. To the right of this design is distinctive Perth Mint mark P. Designated GEM Brilliant Uncirculated. This coin achieved the designation of GEM Brilliant Uncirculated this means that the coin is at least the quality of a Proof 65 or higher and has maintained all of the originally Mint luster and finish.
