The center of the obverse is a depiction of a Liberty Coronet Head. Bold letters on top say “LIBERTY” and the bottom the year of issue (1901). The reverse shows portraits of an American Bald Eagle with shield and the words “E PLURIBUS UNUM”, “IN GOD WE TRUST”, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and the value of FIVE D. Photos are taken under professional lighting and are magnified at 50x zoom to show details that may not be visible to the naked eye. The pendant is clearly hallmarked 14K on the pendant loop, and is hung on a 2.60mm thick, 14K solid gold (not hollow), 21 twist-rope chain necklace that is also clearly hallmarked 14K on the sturdy lobster claw clasp closure.
