The word dollar is a little weak on the strike as well I would say.. But it may have worn like this from circulation? You will also see on my photograph of this coin it has a dark spot on the cheek.. That will be gone.. But you will SEE its the same coin from the die cracks already mentioned. I do NOT know if this is a genuine gold American coin of the period or if its something else as I do NOT see them enough… If some kind soul would let me know please I will change the price accordingly. 15.2 mm in diameter and it weighs approx 1.6 grams.
