Silver products, and some gold as well, may exhibit milk spots, and/or toning, which are normal and do not change the condition described in the listing, nor the value of the product. Coins that are holdered by one of the major grading companies are graded based on the condition they were in at the time of grading. However, at times, coins do tend to develop spotting or toning which are a normal happenstance in coins. Please keep in mind, the appearance of the toning and/or milk spots does not mean that the coin is not the grade specified on the actual slab. In instances where there is a discrepancy where the customer believes to be unjust, please refer to the grading companys guarantee policy. Both NGC and PCGS have a program where they will compensate the owner of the current coin if they believe the coin deserves a lower grade than it had originally received. Please note, bullion coins, bars and rounds are mass-produced and are not struck to the same quality standards as collector coins. These bullion products are not certified and therefore will not always be 100% perfect. All sales are final and therefore in cases when a product is offered on a Deal Price, previously locked-in orders for that product will not be subject to price reductions or cancellations. Purchasing bullion and/or coins involves price risk, and the purchaser assumes all such risk. We do not offer or make price adjustments based on the market fluctuations of precious metals, or for any other reason. We will never ask the customer to pay more for a product if the price significantly increased, so please refrain from requesting price adjustments after market prices decrease. Legend: VICTORIA D : G : BRITT : REG : F : D : Reverse: St. George, wearing Attic helmet, right on horse, holding sword in preparation to dispatch prostrate and wounded Dragon below. (May 29, 1783 September 16, 1855) was a talented engraver of gemstones, cameos, coins and medals. Born in Italy, he moved to London in 1815 and was employed at the Royal Mint as an engraver, where his most famous work is his portrayal of St. George & the Dragon used on British gold sovereigns and crowns first created during the Great Recoinage of 1816. He also engraved the dies for many other coins, medals, and medallions, including the Waterloo Medal, which took him over thirty years to complete. He refused to copy the work of any other artist or engraver, and insisted that all his work was his own original work. Because of his Italian origin, he was not officially recognised as the chief engraver at the Royal Mint, and there were rivalries with other engravers including the Wyon family. Victoria (Alexandrina Victoria; 24 May 1819 22 January 1901) was from 20 June 1837 the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and from 1 May 1876 the first Empress of India until her death. Her reign as Queen lasted 63 years and seven months, longer than that of any other British monarch to date. The period centred on her reign is known as the Victorian era. Though Victoria ascended the throne at a time when the United Kingdom was already an established constitutional monarchy in which the king or queen held few political powers, she still served as a very important symbolic figure of her time. The Victorian era represented the height of the Industrial Revolution, a period of significant social, economic, and technological progress in the United Kingdom. Victoria’s reign was marked by a great expansion of the British Empire; during this period it reached its zenith, becoming the foremost global power of the time. Victoria, who was of almost entirely German descent, was the granddaughter of George III and the niece of her predecessor William IV. She arranged marriages for her nine children and forty-two grandchildren across the continent, tying Europe together; this earned her the nickname “the grandmother of Europe”. She was the last British monarch of the House of Hanover; her son King Edward VII belonged to the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Through her mother, she was also a first cousin twice removed of Maria Theresa, Holy Roman Empress. The item “1895-M, Australia, Queen Victoria. Gold Sovereign Coin. Melbourne! 2018 Canada 1 Oz $50.9999 Fine Gold Maple Leaf Coin Gem Uncirculated (BU)
9999 Fine Gold Maple Leaf Coin – Gem Uncirculated (BU). Obverse Like most of the Royal Canadian Mint&###x2019;s coins, the obverse of the Gold Maple features a profile view of Queen Elizabeth II. You&###x2019;ll also find inscriptions of “ELIZABETH II”, “50 DOLLARS”, and “2018”. Reverse The focal point of the reverse is Canada&###x2019;s signature maple leaf, sculpted with intricate detail. Next to the leaf&###x2019;s stem, you&###x2019;ll notice a small maple leaf-shaped privy mark laser engraved with the coin&###x2019;s year of issue. The RCM added the privy mark to the annually released coin in 2014 to help prevent counterfeiting. Inscriptions include “CANADA”, along with the coin&###x2019;s purity and weight. About the Royal Canadian Mint The Royal Canadian Mint produces all of Canada&###x2019;s circulation coins, precious metal bullion coins, and various medallions. One notable feature on RCM coins, including the Gold Maple, is the micro-inscribed radial lines on the field of both sides. These lines create a unique light diffracting pattern when held to the light, adding another measure of security. This falls under the mint&###x2019;s proprietary bullion DNA technology. At Provident, our primary goal is to make it simple and safe to invest in precious metals. We sell only genuine bullion products sourced directly from the mints that produce them, such as the US Mint, Royal Canadian Mint, Perth Mint, and more. In addition, our inventory holds a unique mix of products that you can only find at Provident.
