1 oz Silver Bars. 5 oz Silver Bars. 10 oz Silver Bars. 100 oz Silver Bars. 1 oz Silver Coins. 5 oz Silver Coins. Tube of Silver Coins. 4+ tube of Silver Coins. RCM NHL Goalie Coins. 1 oz Random Year American Eagle Gold Coin. The American Gold Eagle Coin was authourized by the Gold Bullion Coin Act of 1985 and was first released in 1986. It is offered in 1/10, 1/4, 1/2 and 1 troy ounce increments and each coin is guaranteed by the U. Government to contain the stated weight in pure gold. The Eagle coin is 22 carat gold and is made from 91.67% gold and 8.33% copper to make it more durable. This combination is traditionally referred to as “crown gold” and was used by the British Crown for centuries to make coins last longer, while still containing the requisite amount of gold. The total weight of this coin is 1.0909 troy ounces and this allows the coin to still have 1 oz of gold, even though it is not 999 or 9999 pure gold The obverse of the coin features a full-length rendition of the Augustus Saint-Gaudens Lady Liberty with flowing hair, an olive branch in her left hand and a torch in her right hand. The Capitol building is in the background. Lady Liberty is encircled by a rising sun and 50 stars. The word “LIBERTY” and the year of minting are also printed on the face of the coin. The reverse of the coin was designed by Miley Busiek and features a flying male eagle, also with an olive branch, and a female eagle and her hatchlings in her nest. The words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” are featured prominently and the phrases “E pluribus unum” and “In God we trust” are on either side and the bottom contains the weight, purity and face value, in this case “1 oz Fine Gold – 50 Dollars”. This coin has become a staple in the bullion world and is practically synonymous with reliability, having become one of the most recognized gold bullion coins in the world. Note that from 1986 until 1991 the US Mint used Roman numerals for the year as well as for a couple special edition versions. In 1992 they began to use normal digits for the year. These coins are discounted as they may be tarnished, scratched or visibly handled. Year and condition are subject to availability. Pricing or Typographical Errors We work hard to provide accurate Product and pricing information to you. However, pricing or typographical errors may occur. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Risks All investments involve risk; Coins and Bullion are no exception. The value of a Bullion Coin e. American Eagles or Canadian Maple Leafs is affected by many economic factors, including the current market price of Bullion, the perceived scarcity of the Coins and other factors. Some of these factors include the quality, and current demand and general market sentiment. Therefore, because both Bullion and Coins can go down in price as well as up, investing in them may not be suitable for everyone. Because all investments, including Bullion and Coins, can decline in value, you should understand them well, and have adequate cash reserves and disposable income before considering a Bullion or Coin investment. Please consult your financial advisor. APMEX does guarantee that every item that we sell is genuine and that all Precious Metal items do contain the weight, fineness, and purity that we have advertised. However, all investments, of every type, involve some level of risk and Precious Metals are no exception. Like many markets, the Precious Metals market is speculative, and it is unregulated. The value of any Bullion item is generally determined by current spot price of the underlying Precious Metal and by the supply and demand for these particular items. These prices will fluctuate throughout the day while the Precious Metals market is open. If you are considering purchasing Precious Metals as an investment, you should assess the stability of the current market and contact your financial advisor for all advice. Definitions The following terms have the following meanings in these T&C: 1. The term “APMEX” means APMEX, Inc. The term “Bullion” is used to describe (1) Gold, Silver, Platinum or Palladium Coin(s) which closely follow spot prices and have little or no Numismatic value (such as restrikes); and (2) the form in which metal is shaped such as bars, ingots or wafers. The term “Coin(s)” means a stamped piece of metal of a known weight and fineness issued for commerce by a sovereign government. The term “Fair Market Value” means the Fair Market Value of the Product as determined by APMEX, in its reasonable discretion, as of 5:00 p. The term “Numismatic Coin(s)” means a Coin, the price of which depends more in its (their) rarity, condition, dates, and mint marks than on their gold or silver content, if any. The term “Precious Metal” means Gold, Silver and Platinum along with the Platinum group of elements: rhodium, osmium, ruthenium, Palladium and iridium. Precious Metals are characteristically lustrous, ductile, rare and nonreactive. The term “Semi-Numismatic” means a Coin that has both Bullion and Numismatic value. General Absence of Relationship. Silver products, and some gold as well, may exhibit milk spots, and/or toning, which are normal and do not change the condition described in the listing, nor the value of the product. Coins that are holdered by one of the major grading companies are graded based on the condition they were in at the time of grading. However, at times, coins do tend to develop spotting or toning which are a normal happenstance in coins. Please keep in mind, the appearance of the toning and/or milk spots does not mean that the coin is not the grade specified on the actual slab. In instances where there is a discrepancy where the customer believes to be unjust, please refer to the grading companys guarantee policy. Both NGC and PCGS have a program where they will compensate the owner of the current coin if they believe the coin deserves a lower grade than it had originally received. Please note, bullion coins, bars and rounds are mass-produced and are not struck to the same quality standards as collector coins. Purchasing bullion and/or coins involves price risk, and the purchaser assumes all such risk. We do not offer or make price adjustments based on the market fluctuations of precious metals, or for any other reason. We will never ask the customer to pay more for a product if the price significantly increased, so please refrain from requesting price adjustments after market prices decrease. South Africa 1 oz Gold Krugerrand Coin Random Year (Dates Our Choice) BU
South Africa 1 oz Gold Krugerrand Coin – Random Year (Dates Our Choice) – BU. The South African Krugerrand is the most widely owned gold bullion coin in the world, representing 46 million ounces since its introduction in 1967. The purpose of the original issue was to encourage individual ownership of gold, and it must be said that this objective has clearly been met by the Krugerrand. The coins were intended to be used as currency in South Africa, and as such are made of a durable 22k. 9167 alloy of gold and copper. This alloy, known to historians as crown gold due to its use in English gold sovereigns, gives the coins their distinctive rich color and grants them a durability that bullion coins of higher purity often lack. The Krugerrand uniquely has no stated face value: instead, its legal tender value is the bullion value of its gold at the current market price. South African Krugerrands are available in the following denominations: one troy ounce of pure gold, measuring 32.77mm in diameter; one half-ounce, measuring 27.07mm in diameter; one quarter-ounce, measuring 22.06mm in diameter; and, finally, one tenth-ounce, measuring 16.55mm in diameter. The Krugerrand takes its name from the man whose portrait occupies the obverse of the coin: Paul Kruger, the last president of the former South African Republic. The reverse depicts a springbok antelope, one of South Africa&###x2019;s national symbols. At Provident, our primary goal is to make it simple and safe to invest in precious metals.
