Gold Coin Watch Quartz 1893. Featured is a unique and extremely creative concept produced by a world renowned watchmaking company: Corum. The Swiss watchmaker was founded in 1955 and is known for producing high-quality, high-priced and limited edition watch series. This particular piece features a 1893 five dollar US liberty head half eagle 22kt gold coin with a Swiss quartz movement that runs beautifully. The face has black steel minute and hour hands and a push down crown. The 24.50mm case is made of solid 18kt yellow gold and it holds a sapphire crystal that protects the half eagle side of the coin. The case is connected to a link style bracelet made of solid 14kt yellow gold with a flip-open buckle that can be adjusted in two places. The piece weighs 36.9 grams, measures 7″ in length and the bracelet measures 1/2″ in width. It is in excellent condition with normal signs of wear. Crafted in the 1980s, Excellent Condition.
