There is a die crack visible on the left hand side near the wreath… Turning the coin over and looking at the Obv you can see the same die crack which is located just on the D of the word unite d… Maybe you are familiar with this particular die from this year. The word dollar is a little weak on the strike as well I would say.. But it may have worn like this from circulation? You will also see on my photograph of this coin it has a dark spot on the cheek.. That will be gone.. But you will SEE its the same coin from the die cracks already mentioned. I do NOT know if this is a genuine gold American coin of the period or if its something else as I do NOT see them enough… If some kind soul would let me know please I will change the price accordingly. 15.2 mm in diameter and it weighs approx 1.6 grams.
