This coin comes made from. 9999 fine gold and weighing 1/4 troy oz. The obverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the inscriptions encircling this design are “ELIZABETH II, ” “DG REG FD” which translates to “Elizabeth II, by the grace of God, Queen and Defender of the Faith” along with the denomination. The reverse depicts the proud lion on its hind legs protecting the heraldic shield of Britain with the inscriptions – “LION OF ENGLAND, ” along with the weight and purity.
