Its historically low premiums make it a great option for both collectors and investors. Dating back to 1921, the coin was made to commemorate Mexico’s 100th anniversary of independence from Spain. The obverse features the iconic Winged Victory “The Angel of Independence” design. The reverse shows Mexico’s national coat of arms featuring a golden eagle perched on a cactus with a snake in its beak, together with the denomiation (50 Pesos) and its weight (37.5 g).
