Vintage Jaeger LeCoultre, The Coin Mechanical (Stem Wind), 10K GF, RARE

Thank you for viewing. For sale is a circa. 1995 Jaeger LeCoultre, “The Coin” stem-wound, mechanical dress watch. This is a used. Vintage time piece in excellent condition. The watch was recently serviced by an independent, Certified Master Watchmaker. This recent service included an evaluation of the movement, and standard testing to ensure metal content and accuracy. The watch is 100% original. Some additional details are as follows. The movement is a stem-wind, LeCoultre signed, 480/CW 17 Jewels. The case material is 10K Gold Filled. The watch’s unique design is a limited edition “The Coin” design. The gold dial is embossed with Lady Liberty, and the hour-makers are 6-pointed stars. The sides of the case are coin-edged (see pictures), keeping with the theme of the watch. The dial and case have a nice gold luster to them, as such it was difficult to take well-lit pictures of the watch. The band is an original, Jaeger-LeCoultre manufactured, two-piece, black, alligator leather band with 10-micron gold-plated hardware. The watch has the original, domed crystal. Comes with original outer box and display box. (Note: previous owner taped the display box closed at one point and damaged the external leather – see photo). The watch is time only. The extended, off-set lugs measure 18.00 mm in width, and 32.00 mm lug-to-lug. The case measures 32.00 mm. The markings on back read: “10K Gold Filled D&A”. Suffice it to say the watch is running good time and has since I took possession. I’ve never submerged or polished the watch. This is an incredibly beautiful, and rare piece and in remarkable condition.
