Vintage Italian 18k solid gold 46.35g stamped signed 750 59AR scales necklace
Made in Arezzo, Italy by jewelry makers Societa Orafa Aretina S. Features a 28mm medallion with embossed scales which could be a reference to justice and fairness or the zodiac sign Libra as this necklace was produced during the astrology craze of the 1960s. Bail, pendant, ring clasp, and chain itself are all stamped. The chain appears almost damaged on a few links but these are just stamp indentions including maker’s mark which also appears on front lower pendant (please see photos). VICTORIAN9crt SOLID GOLD- MAX MILLANO-COIN RING-Emperor Of MEXICO C1865 Signed.. EXCEPTIONAL condition in person is this dear little coin/ring treasure. The coin has Max Milano Emperador(Emperor of Mexico) on the front. On the reverse side of the coin is a crowned Mexican eagle dated 1965. The reason being that he ruled for only a short period from 1863 to 1867 before an ill fated execution!!! (short history in photos) So very beloved by his people the coins have been brought up by private collectors , as they were only minted over a 4 year period. The coin sits flat and is 1 cm in diameter. The band is 2.2 mm thick. The setting sits 5.5 mm tall. Delicate in size and design but strong. It’s also Hallmarked p. (makers Mark) lt looks very much like Paris P (designer jeweller) from the Netherlands from my research? Also hallmarked 9ct (9k in today’s marking). This is how rings mid 1800, s were marked. It’s a size 71/2 or P. It can be worn as a pinky ring or would look great on any finger. It will come in a ring box. Great opportunity for the collector or a fabulous Antique to wear?? I have had it tucked away for so long l carnt remember whether l imported it from America? Good luck to the new owner.
