New with Tags Attached Roberto Coin Ipanema Green Amethyst Prasiolite Necklace in 18k Yellow Gold. PLEASE READ THE LISTING AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFOREHAND. This necklace features a large 22 mm (7/8 inch) rounded-corner square-shaped flat twisted bezel-set (see Pictures #3, 5-6 for detail of the bezel design) green amethyst (also called prasiolite) cut in a faceted fancy shape with center flat tables. I own several pieces from the Ipanema collection and these stones were cut to be approximately 19.7 carats. There is the signature ruby on the end of the chain (Picture #2). The clasp is stamped “18 K”. The 18 karat yellow gold chain adjusts to 16 or 18 inches long. There are two flaws in the stone: a tiny nick less than 1 mm in diameter, shown on the face in Picture #6. It appears as a gray dot on the left side of the table. In Picture #7, you are looking through the stone on the opposite side when held up to the light, and it appears as a white dot in the lower right corner of the table. Also on this side, there is a surface scratch about 5 mm long through the table, less than a hair’s width. It cannot be seen in any photo nor can you feel it with your fingernail, but I want to disclose it. The scratch cannot be seen unless you view the stone on an angle to the light and hold it an inch from your eye. The chip cannot be seen until someone gets about 5 inches from your chest and seriously, nobody is going to get that close. International Buyers – Please Note.
